The heavy ceramic body holds heat and moisture well, supporting evenly cooked, juicy results.
Ceramic walls and adjustable temperature
The ceramic walls and airtight seal allow noticeably higher chamber temperatures than a standard charcoal BBQ. A lower air vent and a top vent on the lid let you meter airflow precisely, holding the temperature you want.
Built-in thermometer
A lid thermometer reads the chamber temperature without needing to open the BBQ, which keeps low-and-slow cooks more stable.
Warranty
Big Bear provides the following manufacturer warranties: 10 years on the ceramic parts, 2 years on other components, 1 year on the thermometer and 6 months on the gasket. Natural weathering of timber and bamboo parts is not covered if it does not affect function. To extend the life of the unit we recommend a protective cover.
