Corten steel
The body is made from corten weathering steel, which develops a stable layer of surface rust that protects the steel underneath from further corrosion. On arrival the unit may already show some patina, and the colour will continue to develop over the first months of use.

Care
The cooking ring is made from blackened steel and benefits from re-oiling every 7-10 days, depending on the weather. If rust spots appear on the cooking surface, a wire brush will clean them off.
